5k course 

Course Description

2k - Starting a short way down the path from the Leisure Centre, going into Princess Anne Park (same starting point as 5k), 2k runners will run down the path, then take a right turn and follow their (separate) route clockwise, sticking to the main pathways. Runners will complete 2 loops, finishing on the path near the Leisure Centre.

5k - Starting a short way down the path from the Leisure Centre, going into Princess Anne Park, 5k runners will run down towards the bottom of the park then follow the route anti-clockwise back up toward the Leisure Centre, sticking to the main paths. Runners will complete 2 loops and, after the 2nd loop, will head back up the path (towards the Leisure Centre) to the finish.

Both routes will be fully signed and marshalled.

Event Cancellations

In the unlikely event that this Great Run Local is cancelled, an announcement will be made on the website prior to the day of the event.

All cancellations made on the day of the event will be communicated via the events social media channels.
